Edward Osborne
M, #1279, Deceased, b. 1646, d. 1 April 1697
Tree
Biography
Although there are no surviving records of his parental relationship, it is assumed by researchers that Edward was the younger son of Thomas Osborne due to evidence. His land was next to his brother Thomas, which implies that their father's land was split between them. In 1679 he and Thomas 0sborne, listed together, were the only Osbornes on the Henrico County tithes list. He was known as a helpful man, with records of his assisting people in need.
He and Tabitha cared for her father in law Gilbert Piatt during a fatal sickness1692 , when hif wife Mary apparently mistreated him .In gratitude, Platt left therm most of his estate. (See personal profile of the Platts.)
