Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Monday February 23, 1920

Mrs. Gladys Roberts Pierce, wife of James Pierce, died at the residence, 224 West Seventeenth Street, at 6 o'clock yesterday morning, aged 25. She had been ill for a short time. Mrs. Pierce was the daughter of the late Rev. David and Eleanor Roberts, of West Bangor, Pa.
Besides her husband, she leave a daughter, Eleanor, two brothers, Clifford Roberts, of Chicago, Ill., and Idwell Roberts, of Wilmington, Del., and a grandmother, Mrs. A. E. Williams, of West Bangor, Pa.
The funeral services will be held at the residence at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Rev. W. H. T. Squires, of the Knox Memorial Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
